Purpose 

VetShadow Ltd provides remote veterinary advisory and professional support services to veterinary clinics and professionals.

Through secure, self-hosted digital platforms, VetShadow connects clinics with qualified senior veterinarians for:

  • Real-time clinical support and second opinions.
  • Diagnostic and treatment guidance.
  • On-the-job mentoring for new graduates and early-career vets.

All services are designed for registered veterinary professionals and clinics and do not replace on-site clinical evaluation or emergency care.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

If you do not agree with any of these terms, please refrain from using the website or VetShadow services.

Access to the website does not imply a commercial or employment relationship with VetShadow Ltd.

You agree not to use this website or its contents for any unlawful purpose or activity that could damage, disable, or impair the website or interfere with other users. 

Scope of Service

VetShadow provides support to veterinary professionals through secure, self-hosted digital platforms (primarily Element, hosted on EU-based VPS servers). The service is subscription-based, with monthly or quarterly payments managed via Stripe.

The service includes:

  • Real-time clinical advisory by senior veterinarians.
  • Asynchronous support via text, images, voice notes and video clips.
  • Optional workflow or communication assistance

Services are intended for professional veterinary use only and must not be shared or redistributed.

Conditions of Use

You agree not to use the website or VetShadow services for any unlawful purposes or in any way that may damage the platform, disrupt other users, or compromise confidentiality.

You must:

  • Be a registered veterinary professional or an authorised representative of a veterinary practice or hospital.
  • Provide accurate and current billing and contact information.
  • Keep all access credentials confidential and secure.

You agree not to:

  • Share VetShadow content or advice publicly without prior written consent.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or systems.

Security and Liability

While VetShadow Ltd implements industry-standard security protocols (including encrypted connections, access control and server-level protections), we cannot guarantee that the website is free of malware or vulnerabilities at all times.

Vetshadow Ltd shall not be liable for:

Decisions or actions taken solely based on remote advice without appropriate on-site veterinary judgment.

Errors resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by clients.

Interruptions caused by third-party service providers, maintenance, or force majeure.

All professional advice provided by VetShadow veterinarians is intended as guidance, not as a substitute for in-person clinical evaluation.

Subscription, Payment, and Cancellation

Subscriptions are managed via Stripe and may be billed in GBP (£) or EUR (€).

Billing occurs monthly or quarterly, depending on the selected plan.

Clients may cancel their subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

VetShadow Ltd reserves the right to adjust fees or subscription terms with prior notice.

If a free or trial period is offered, cancellation within that period will result in no charge. After the trial, standard terms apply.

VetShadow Ltd reserves the right to decline or discontinue service renewal if communication standards, ethical expectations, or professional conduct are not met.

Intellectual and Industrial Property

All content on this website — including text, logos, graphics, videos, and documents — is the intellectual property of VetShadow Ltd or its collaborators and is protected by UK and international copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any part of the content for commercial or training purposes without prior written consent.

“VetShadow” and its logo are trademarks of VetShadow Ltd.

VetShadow Ltd processes all personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.

Use of Third-Party Services

VetShadow relies on a small number of secure third-party services and several self-hosted systems to deliver its service:

  • MailerLite / MailerSend: Newsletters and professional updates.
  • Stripe: Secure online payments.
  • Google reCAPTCHA: Spam prevention on forms.
  • IONOS (self-hosted servers / VPS infrastructure):provides the secure infrastructure where VetShadow’s self-hosted systems operate.
  • ERPNext (self-hosted): Internal records and invoicing.
  • Element (self-hosted): communication platform
  • OnlyOffice (self-hosted): Provides secure document editing.
  • Nextcloud (self-hosted): Secure file storage and transfer system.
  • Keycloak (self-hosted authentication): Identity and access management system
  • n8n (self-hosted automation): Handles automated workflows.

IONOS provides the secure infrastructure where VetShadow’s self-hosted systems operate, including our communication platform, authentication system, automations, file storage and internal administrative tools.
IONOS does not access client personal data; it only provides the underlying servers, storage and security environment required to host our encrypted services.

Use of these services implies acceptance of their respective privacy and usage policies.

Cookie Policy 

The Owner collects the following information about Website visitors: 

– ISP domain name and/or IP address. 

– Date and time of access. 

– Source Internet address (referral). 

– Daily visitor count to each section. 

This data is anonymous and not linked to a specific, identifiable User.
